Lion’s Heart Healing Spell

Leo rules the heart, and when the Sun is radiating in this warm and charismatic sign, it is the perfect time to focus on healing your heart. With peridot for positivity and joy, and ruby for strength of the heart, and thyme for strength, this crystal star spa is designed to support you as you release old wounds. Once you have opened up your heart again, you can find more bliss and feel more free to express yourself.
You Will Need:
Fireproof dish
12 small fresh thyme springs
1 1/2 tablespoons dried rose petals
Burgundy, green or pink candle and candleholder
1/4 teaspoon honey
Peridot
Ruby
Directions:
- At sunrise/morning, place the fireproof dish on a flat, safe surface (where you will be able to watch the candleburn.)
- Line the outer rim of the dish with all, but one of the thyme sprigs. Sprinkle all but a pinch of the rose petals along this thyme circle, in a clockwise manner, creating a beautiful circle of magenta and green for the heart center for healing and strength, sprinkle remaining rose petals in center of circle and add a pinch of thyme leaves from remaining sprig
- Dress your candle with Sun-ruled honey, and roll it toward you through the thyme and rose petals, you dropped in the center of the circle, bringing in healing and strength. Secure dressed candle in the center of the dish
- Place the peridot and ruby around the base of the candle.
- Hover your hands above the stones and around the candle, noticing the stones and the herbs beneath your palms and all the hearth-opening, strengthening energies they represent. Visualize a sun rising and opening both within the scene and within your heart center, clearing away blockages and infusing your energy with radiance and positivity.
- Say aloud three times:
“Celestial Lion, your power to me impart.
Grant me your radiant strength of heart.” - Light the candle. You can stop here if you like, or lie down and rest the ruby on your heart and the peroidot on your third solar plexus energy center. Meditate on the image of the rising sun, clearing away all darkness and warming the earth. Imagine the sun doing the same to your heart. Return stones to candle to charge up until the candle burns all the way down, then keep them on your person to hold in times of need.
- When you are done, feel free to carry the stones with you, or you can keep the layout in place and put a quartz point in the middle.
Use a Crystal Body Layout
