Cancer season brings a focus to domestic life and reminds you how important your home is. It should provide a safe space to nurture yourself and your interests. Using the power of water and ingredients associated with Cancer and the Moon, this mixture will help you cleanse and bless your home with good energy! Perform this spell as part of a regular lunar cleansing ritual or whenever you home’s energy feels like it needs an upgrade.
You Will Need:
1 tablespoon Himalayan or sea salt
1/2 cup water
1 fresh rosemary sprig
1 tablespoon dried rose petals or 5-10 drops rose essential oil
5 drops Jasmine essential oil, optional
2-3 lemon Peels
Directions:
- Place salt in bowl. Stir with your hand, smelling its scent and thinking of its cleansing properties.
- Pour in water, and stir counterclockwise with rosemary sprig, visualizing the cleansing power of the ocean and its tides. Drop in rose petals or few drops of rose oil and jasmine oil, if using.
- With the rind facing the water squeeze your lemon peel, sending the oils into the water, crafting a refreshing aroma. Stir clockwise with the rosemary sprig, visualizing protection and healing.
- Take your bowl around the house, and use the rosemary sprig to fling out the water in all directions for cleansing. Say aloud as you do so:
- “Spirit of water, Mother Moon, With your blessing, I cleanse this room.”
- Continue until you have blessed all spaces in the house and feel a shift of energy.
