Apollo’s Chariot Inner Light Spell

Renew your inner light with this Sun-aligned support spell. Whether you need to be reminded of your purpose, or are looking to usher in creativity, call in the solar chariot of Apollo to light your inner sun as he lights up the sky. Using the power of the rising sun you will strengthen and renew your own inner light and sense of positivity, or lend solar support to a matter of your choice. You can even do this spell regularly during your sun sign- just add a few correspondences associated with your sign! For example if your sun sign is in Cancer, you might wish to sprinkle some jasmine or add a few pieces of moonstone to make a flower and crystal grid to bring in blessings for your solar return (otherwise known as your birthday)!

You Will Need:
Tea light
Toothpick
1/4 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Fireproof dish
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon dried chamomile and/or 5 or more marigold/calendula flowers or fresh flowers, (or flowers for your sun sign)
peridot
Yellow or orange candle

Directions

1. Just before sunrise, use the toothpick to engrave the tea light with your name and intention. Dab it with a small amount of oil and sprinkle it with a pinch of the cinnamon to increase your energy and spiritual vibration. Place tea light in the center of your fireproof dish
2. Visualize breaking away any negative energy, then snap each cinnamon stick in half so that you have 6 pieces.  In a clockwise motion, place five of the pieces around the tea light in a star shape. You can use the remaining piece to burn slightly, like incense.
3. Place your flowers in the space between each stick (a safe distance away from the tea light so that they do not catch on fire), thinking of their bright and confident energy. Nestle the peridot beside the tea light, or nestle any Sun-aligned stone inside the flowers.
4. Engrave the candle with the symbol of the sun and light it. As the sun rises, imagine Apollo’s chariot carrying the sun across the sky. Use this candle to light the tea light, while saying something like this (you can change these words as needed to match your intention):
   “As the sun rises again each day and anew, the light within me grows and is renewed.” 
5. Repeat the words two more times, then sprinkle the remaining ground cinnamon above the flame and over the flowers in a clockwise motion, blessing them with extra energy.
6. Let the tea light burn out. You can snuff the candle if you wish and reuse it to repeat the ritual daily or is needed, or let it burn out on its own. Keep the peridot on you to promote optimism.

Add Excitement with a Meteor Shower.
