At 9:37 AM, the Moon slips into its final aspect before changing signs, entering what we practitioners call the Void of Course (VoC). When the Moon is in this liminal space, it’s as if the cosmic tides have pulled back, leaving us in a quiet, misty tide pool of suspended energy.
Because this occurs while the Moon is in Scorpio, the energy feels particularly heavy, like a secret whispered in a dark room. Scorpio is the sign of deep transformation, shadows, and the subconscious. When it goes “void,” that intense investigative energy turns inward.
What to Do in the Mist
A Void of Course Moon is not the time for planting new seeds or signing contracts. In the “witchy” world, we view this as a time for the internal cauldron to simmer.
- Reflect, Don’t React: Use this morning to sit with your journals. Since it’s Scorpio energy, ask yourself: What am I finally ready to release to the shadows?

- Intuitive Drifting: This is a fantastic window for meditation or scrying. Without the “push” of active lunar aspects, your psychic antennae might pick up on subtle frequencies you usually miss.
Navigating the Day
Expect things to feel a bit “floaty” or unanchored until the Moon completes its transition. If you start a major project now, it may lack the momentum to reach completion, or the results might be wildly different than what you intended.
Instead, lean into the mystery. Brew a cup of dark herbal tea, light a candle for your ancestors, and simply be. The universe is taking a collective breath—you should, too.
